History:
The Haserot Angel is a famous and haunting monument located in the Lake View Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio. Erected in 1930, the statue marks the grave of Frank Haserot, a prominent businessman who owned a successful canning company. 
 
The angel's most notable feature is its mysterious "bleeding eyes." Over the years, natural weathering and the natural process of time have caused the eyes to appear dark and to stain, giving the illusion that the angel is weeping. This eerie effect has sparked various legends and ghost stories, contributing to the angel's notoriety and making it one of Cleveland's most photographed and visited landmarks.
