This exquisite, hand-made Freemason apron is a remarkable artifact of Masonic tradition and regalia. Made of genuine lambskin, the apron embodies the timeless elegance and symbolic significance of Freemasonry. It prominently displays the All-Seeing Eye, Masonic Square and Compass symbol, and the owner's name, Franz Dohm, in gold bullion threaded embroidery. The phrase Navigator 232 is embroidered along the top with the year 1900 beneath the All-Seeing Eye indicating that Franz Dohm was a Mason belonging to the German Nagivator chapter #232 in New York City in the year 1900.

Symbols:

The All-Seeing Eye, prominently displayed on the apron, symbolizes divine providence and the ever-watchful presence of the Great Architect of the Universe. This emblem reminds Freemasons of their moral obligations and the importance of integrity in their actions. The G, often found in the center of the Masonic square and compasses, holds dual meanings: it represents both "God" as the supreme being and "Geometry," the foundational science upon which the principles of Freemasonry are built.

Condition:

This apron is in great condition for being over 124 years old. It does have some signs of wear and some tears to the stitching that can be seen in the pictures. There is a significant tear on the center of the back lining of the apron, however, this is not noticeable when viewed from the front. It would look incredible framed or hung on your wall!
